I had an interview at Suzy Shier today, it went okay she’s looking to replace her assistant manager but if she dosen’t get someone qualified she’s going to promote her full time employee and hire someone for that. Honestly I don’t think ill get it but I needed the interview anyways just to boost my hope that I can still even get an interview without anyones help. I’m going to keep applying and checking up on places I know eventually ill find something that fits and in the mean time I should be starting at Shoe Co soon.
Clearly no one knows how to end a movie with a proper happy ending.
I was applying at the Shopper’s on Merivale today and there was an old lady in front of me in line, seeing that I was only handing in a resume she told me to go in front of her. So I did and then she turns to me and goes 60 sex tips! I was looking at this earlier (Cosmo) and some man over there gave me a dirty look but I dont care I have fun (winked), you have to enjoy yourself and make the most out of everyday. I told her that was a good way to live.
Some of these things I can do in a day and others are more long term.
1. Drive less/Walk more
Ever since I got Whitney I drive everywhere (except downtown) I really should stop relying on my car so much, also gas is like ridiculous right now and I need to stop making pointless trips.
2. Drink less alcohol and coffee
I used to not drink at all and drinking isn’t exactly my favourite thing to do either so it’s kind of stupid how much i’ve been drinking. Except for the occasional strongbow at the Royal Oak or long island iced tea at zaphod’s im not drinking anymore.
I love coffee but I have been drinking more coffee than water or any other beverage which is probably not good for me i’m most likely dehydrated, also I love juice.
3. Wake up earlier
Basically since I don’t have a job or school I don’t have any reason to really wake up at a reasonable hour but im wasting a lot of time.
4.Do research on programs for school
I’m thinking I want to take Humanites at Carleton but I need to do more research on it and other programs before I actually decide.
5.Get some acrylic paint
I have like 3 paintings that I want to start and 1 I need to finish but I have no paint.
6.Make a list of all the books i’ve ever read
I’ve read a lot of books and i’d just like to keep track of them all.
7. Paint the bathroom ceiling
Basically it needs to be re-painted.
8. Print pictures
I have this big pink frame that I bought like a year ago and have been meaning to print pictures for a long time for it.
9. Go swimming
I have a decent pool in my building that I never use and I love swimming.
10.Go to Toronto to visit my cousins
Me and Laura started going to Toronto to see my cousins during the Victoria day weekend 3 years ago but last year their dad was getting divorced and their step mom wouldn’t allow visitors. So this year we definitly need a visit.
11. Go see some museums while I still have my CMA membership
I have a membership until next october that I can get into most Canadian museums with for free, might as well use it.
12. Get a haircut
I only get a haircut at most twice a year and right now my hair is really long and flat when its straight which is usually the point when I get it cut.
13. Start eating regular meals
I usually skip breakfast have lunch and then dinner pretty late. I should probably just start eating breakfast, have lunch and having dinner at like 6 .
14. Get coasters
I’m ruining my desk. I have so many rings on it I probably need to re-paint it.
15. Don’t waste my year and half off from school.
I need to save money for school, choose a program and enjoy being 19.
16. Get my G
I’ve had my G2 for like a year and a half and I feel comfortable enough that I would pass, it would just be good to get it over with and not have to do another driving test ever.
